1. Who We Are

Style Passport B.V. (“Style Passport,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an AI-powered personal-styling quiz, body-shape & colour analysis, and shopping recommendations with affiliate links (collectively, the “App”). We are incorporated in the Netherlands and operate globally.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how and why we use it, and the choices & rights you have under the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other laws.
It covers use of:

  • the Style Passport mobile App (iOS & Android)
  • stylepassport.app and any microsites
  • our customer-support channels

It does not apply to third-party websites you reach through our outbound shopping links.

5. How We Use Your Data

  • Core styling engine – run AI models on your quiz answers & photos to generate shape, colour, and item recommendations.
  • Personalisation – remember your preferred sizes, palettes, and brands to surface relevant garments.
  • Affiliate linking – append partner IDs when you tap “Shop Now” so we can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
  • Analytics & improvement – study aggregated usage to prioritise new features and squash bugs.
  • Communications – deliver account alerts, security notices, feature updates, and (if you opt in) trend emails.
  • Safety – detect abusive content and enforce community guidelines.

7. International Transfers

Primary data residency: EU-West (Amsterdam). If we transfer data outside the EEA/UK we use:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)

  • Adequacy decisions where applicable

10. Children’s Privacy

Style Passport is not designed for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we’ll delete it promptly.


11. Cookies & Tracking Tech

  • Website: first-party cookies for core functions; third-party pixels (e.g., Meta) only after consent via banner.
  • Mobile App: device IDs (IDFA/GAID) used only after ATT consent for ad measurement.

12. Security

  • Encryption – TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest.
  • Zero-trust access – least-privilege roles; MFA for employees.
  • Audits – annual penetration tests; SOC 2 Type II underway.
  • Incident response – we’ll notify you of a data breach within 72 hours where required.

13. AI Transparency

Our AI suggests colours, cuts, and items based on probabilistic models; advice may occasionally be incorrect. High-risk medical or body-image questions trigger an automatic disclaimer recommending professional guidance. You can request human review via in-app chat.


14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced at least 7 days in advance via in-app banner and email. Continuing to use the App after the effective date equals acceptance.
